Azerbaijan mobile operator Bakcell has launched 5G trials in the country's capital city, Baku. The trials are currently operating in test mode, with Bakcell testing the network at three locations in the capital – Fountain Square, Khagani Garden (aka Molokan Garden), and the Deniz Mall shopping center.
For the moment around 60 regions of the country, including Baku and Absheron, are covered by 4G network and these numbers are to grow.
