By late 2028, phase one of the solar plant will begin sending 1,000 MW of sun-powered electricity straight into KAHRAMAA’s system by the end of 2028. The plant will have solar trackers and heat-proof inverters to ensure it can keep generating electricity efficiently, and really making use of Qatar’s hot summer days.
